This kit will convert your 1998 & up 4L60E transmision to a factory mechanical speedometer and still have a functional VSS capability.
This
is a simple 30 minute bolt on installation. This conversion kit features a machined billet adapter that mounts to the 6-bolt stock
transmission,
allowing the standard 4-bolt tail housing that bolts right up. It also includes a new mechanical speedometer sleeve with a new gear,
and a reluctor/drive gear bushing assembly. This gear assembly drives the mechanical speedo and operates the VSS sensor.
IMPORTANT:
You
must include your rear axle gear ratio and tire diameter with your order for us to determine the correct speedo gears!
